Big Evangelism

Photos and e-mail from John Mugabi- 3/10/09

In this life, everyone has something they love most and treasure.

To some it is their family, their money, their wealth, their good health, their education, their prestige, to name a few.

While these things are not all bad, they are not eternal.

All these things are but for a short time. I always challenge those I meet and ask them to reflect on things that are forever.

Every Monday evening, I do a Bible club with the high school students. The response has been so good.  Seeing people coming to Jesus, repenting and wanting to start a new life is Eternal!

I would therefore want to thank each of you that has worked hard to see that such big evangelism does take place.

As you already know we still need to put up six classrooms. We need to make room at the High School to even bring in children from the rich families so that they may get the opportunity to meet Jesus.

I also request you all to consider doing things that are Eternal– that way we shall be given an Eternal reward.

More students would be coming in even now, but there is little furniture and no room…

Brother John.

And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need…And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.  Acts 2:45-47

Don’t hoard treasure down here on earth where it gets depleted by volatile stock markets or an unpredictable real estate market. Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it’s safe from EVERYTHING! It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be.  It is the place your heart will be. Matthew 6:19-21– Adapted from The Message Version
