• Approximately $27,500 is still needed to meet new health/safety requirements imposed by the Ugandan Ministry of Education.
  

  School Fires rage in more than 30 schools in Uganda

These new requirements are due to fires in nearly 30 schools in recent months (some causing student deaths).  (photo at right –from a Ugandan newspaper– is of one of the fires ablaze in a prestigious school.)  If the requirements are not met by Dec 31, the boarding portion of the school will be closed.  If you’d like more information on this need, please let us know.
